You are considered the highest evolutionary end-point by many river scholars — and openly worshipped by fly-fishing enthusiasts. Found in mountain meadows and lowlands alike, you need open spaces and very, very low slopes in order to develop your characteristically singular, unhurried, deep, and sinuous path.

You take the longest way possible between two points, and even though you move slowly, all those bends direct force laterally. As a result, your banks are vulnerable if the densely-rooted vegetation is damaged or your edges are trampled down or widened in any way. Take care of your boundaries.

Most importantly, E-types are never isolated or entrenched. You need super easy access to a large floodplain so that when a flood hits, you can immediately spread out and maintain a leisurely pace. That’s why your life is a paradise for you and all who love you.
